We hope everyone was on the SEAHAWKS hard on Saturday as we released the Seahawks as our 20 unit NFL Pre-season game of the year. We knew Denver’s lack of depth would hurt them and we capitalized on that fact. The Seahawks wanted to deliver a statement game in front of the home crowd they did it. HC Mora wanted the performance to show the teams strengths and to focus on big plays and defense. His wish was granted.

We are sitting here, like we were last night, trying to figure out the move Browns coach Romeo Crennel made last night. His team was down 10-3 with 3:21 left in the 4th and had 4th and 7 at the Steelers 21. Pittsburgh’s defense was tired and had given the Browns big 3rd down plays the entire drive. It was in our opinion the best drive the Browns had the whole game. So what does the genius coach do? He kicks a 38 yard field goal to go down 4, STILL needing a td to win. Did we mention he also had 3 timeouts left? Has to make the booing browns contigent cringe knowing this guy got an extension last season after the 10-6 year he had. The Browns are now 0-2 with only 6 more home games left and are slowly watching the season get away from them. To bad for everyone’s chic pick to win the AFC NORTH this year.
NFL Betting Preview
Denver Broncos at Oakland Raiders
Monday, 10:15 pm Eastern – ESPN
Opening Line: Broncos - 1, Total 41.5
The Oakland Raiders host the Denver Broncos in the late game on ESPN’s opening Monday Night Football doubleheader as rookie Darren McFadden makes his NFL regular season debut. The Raiders’ running back is expected to make an immediate impact this season. He will be facing a Denver defense that was terrible against the run last season, allowing 145.9 yards per game. In the two teams final meeting last season Raiders’ running back
Justin Fargas had 146 yards.
Both teams will be looking for improved play out of their quarterbacks this season. Denver’s Jay Cutler was up and down last season, throwing for 20 touchdowns but also throwing 14 interceptions. He was diagnosed with Diabetes in the off-season and is now receiving insulin that should help his overall energy level. Cutler will be missing his favorite receiver in Monday’s game as Brandon Marshall is out due to a one-game suspension.
The Raiders are also hoping for better quarterback play this season. JaMarcus Russell is the full-time starter this season and he will look to put up solid numbers this season. “You can never be Superman when you have other teammates,” Russell said. “So just go out there and do the basics and do what you do each and every day.” The Raiders signed former Bronco wide receivers Javon Walker and Ashley Lelie in the off-season to give Russell some deep threats.
